It has been developed by Drew Mackie and David Wilcox as a successor to the original Communities Online Game which is on the Partnerships Online site. That game has the same approach, but placed more emphasis on creating the technical platform for community networking. Before reading about the game, you may wish to find out more about online communities.
The game is designed to be used as part of a start up process for an online community. More here about that process.
