Previous
stages should have yielded a set of project
plans, each with a project driver and teamlet to take
them forward. Each teamlet should have started research into
the skills and resources needed to make the project happen.
This is time to confirm partnerships, and clarify who can
help.
One
way to do this is to run a workshop and invite the agencies
or other organisations potentially involved in projects. These
should have been identified during networking,
and may have been involved in the visioning
exercise.
Invite
the agencies to indicate which projects they will support.
This could be through, for example:
- Funding
- Help
in kind
- Endorsement
Draw
up a matrix of projects against agencies, and fill in the
cells with symbols indicating the type of support. You will
then rapidly see which projects are most feasible.
See
also the section on partnerships
and review Terry Grunwald's advice on involving
the community.
