Making
the Net Work is a joint UK-US initiative led by David Wilcox,
Drew Mackie and Terry Grunwald.
Our
aim is to develop 'how to' guidance for those aiming to get
their organisation or neighbourhood online, or to create community
technology or learning access centres.
Our
first project was to develop a toolbox,
funded initially by the UK Department of Trade and Industry.
This has grown through work we are doing for the Department
for Education and Employment as part of the DirectSupport
consortium.
We
have just complete a guide to the use of information and communication
technologies in housing. Full

Our
work is a mix of funded projects and consultancy. More
here on the services that we offer.
